To our valued guests,
At Providence and Connie and Ted’s, we are committed to offering you the best quality guest experience. That quality extends to the efforts and precautions we take to protect you from illness. With the anxiety of COVID-19 bearing down on us and its impact already being felt by many of you, we want to assure you that we are taking precautions and extra steps at our restaurants to protect you and our employees from exposure. We feel it is important to note that this is not a food-borne illness and current advice from public health authorities suggests that COVID-19 is not transmittable via food.
To that end, we want to take a moment to provide you with the data we have available to us so far, as well as some emerging best practices during whatever period of time the virus disrupts the normal course of business.
We are following the advice of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local health authorities and are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving situation. We have strict policies for our team members pertaining to personal hygiene and sanitation and regularly monitor that those policies be upheld to the highest food safety standards. We are also emphasizing to our team, the importance to stay at home if they are exhibiting any signs of illness. At our restaurants, we are increasing the frequency of disinfecting our public spaces throughout the day such as tabletops, surfaces, door handles and restroom facilities.
We remain in close contact with local public health organizations and will continue to follow their recommendations. If you have any direct concerns or need guidance pertaining to the mitigation of COVID-19, please visit the CDC website. Together, all of our efforts can work towards helping mitigate the further spread of the virus and return us to our normal everyday lives that much sooner.
Our thoughts go out to all those impacted by this virus and we hope the world returns to good health soon. All of us at Providence and Connie and Ted’s wish you and your families good health and as always, we look forward to your visit with us!
A votre santé!
